Yesterday I popped to the KWT Oare Marshes reserve. It was pretty quiet in terms of people and birds. I did see a little egret and I got a shot of it with my K5.
I had gone to try out my Pentax Q on the DA*300mm with the adapter but the sun of course had disappeared by the time I arrived! The white feathered egret however was light enough for some ok shutter speeds and I took a few shots. The above shot is about a 50% crop of original size. The below are pretty much uncropped or cropped to portrait/square from landscape.
(Could have done with being further away for this one!)
I also got this reed bunting in the drizzle and wind!
