Just listened to the leech podcast by Neil. Wow, that was tremendous. I have long since thought that lack of knowledge of a subject was a possible reason to fear it when it was of a particular type of animal. Such ignorance is also displayed by the comments of “gross” and “weird” (Sorry Neil did you say gross there somewhere). My tweets and Facebook posts are littered with my “Ignorance is the mother of fear”. It even applies to xenophobia.
Superb information at an accessible level, great entertainment and in an enjoyably informal style.
