Puffins in flight

Carrying on from here are my best shots from July to December in 2013. In July summer finally arrived and I had booked a week off work, so I decided to head to the New Forest for a few days. It was a dragon and damselfly bonanza! At Crockford stream I photographed golden ringed dragonfly.…
2013 has been a funny old year. It started of slow and with the cold spring and late start to summer, combined with me being busy moving house and completeing a Forest School Qualification, I didn’t spend as long out taking photgraphs as I have in previous years (well it feels like I didn’t!). It…

Back in march I sat in a freezing cold hide waiting for a crested tit to pose for a photo. One never did that day, but I did finally get a nice shot of a long tailed tit.
I still have a nu7mber of shots of the red backed shrike to edit, but here are a few more of this lovely bird.

This week there has been a Juvenile scaup at RSPB West Canvey Marshes. This duck is usually found on the sea, so it was nice to see one on an inland site when I visited yesterday. It was a long way off so I had to use the Pentax q with the adapter and 300mm,…
A few photos of a sleepy swan at RSPB Rainham Marshes.
