Popped over to West Canvey Marsh RSPB reserve yesterday in my lunch break to see the Lesser Yellow Legs, a bird I have never seen before. It was a distant view, and sadly the design at West Canvey means all birds on the far side of the lake there are and the birds on the nearside bank are out of sight. However I got out the Pentax Q kit and mounted it on the 300mm and got this photo.
I also got some video.
Found out when I got back there was whinchat and wood sandpiper present, 2 birds I have yet to see! Always next time I guess!
