A few months ago I came across this fox raiding a bin. By sitting still I got her to pretty much ignore me and caoming quite close, though she did stop to check me out at one point! She had obviously learned that us humans leave a lot of food waste in the bin.
Back in June I came across this emperor dragonfly egg laying in the RSPB’s pond at Wat Tyler Country Parks.

A couple of nice finds from pond and borrow dyke survey. First was this opossum shrimp my first ever. They are called this because they carry their young round ina pouch, like marsupials. A few weeks ago thi water scorpion was found. I’ve not been doing to much aquarium photography lately, but I didnt have a good adult water scorpion photo so I had to have a go with this one.

A few New Forest Landscapes
There has recently been a campaign in a local park to try and get dog owners to pick up their dogs mess, rather than leave it on the path or in meadows where people and children may come across it. A big poster campaign involved putting up lots of signs/posters, many of which quickly ended…
