While exploring The glorious area around Leighton Moss and Silverdale we were shown a pond with the clearest water I think I’ve seen in a pond or lake (mind you I’m used to Essex ponds which are invariably disturbed by dogs and/or polluted). I spotted some newts by they were elusive. The sticklebacks however were more cooperative, so I decided to film them with my Pentax WG-2 waterproof camera and this is the result.

Saw your link from the Pentax User forum:
Been thinking about buying one of these for a while – but every time I am just about decided, Pentax upgrade it or bring out a new model…
The results look very good and the frame rate looks ok too. That is clear water as you say, would not be able to get results like that around here in Somerset!

Thats fantastic Neil – such a small camera and such good results – I’m very impressed!
