Its been a while since I posted a blog. Thankfully its not just because I’ve been working lots, I’ve been all over photographing wildlife too! But today post is from ‘my patch’ Wat Tyler Country Park.
I looks like there was 1 or probably 2 nests in the reed beds, as families could be seen moving around in front of one of the hides a few weeks ago (and are still showing most days now). The weather and light were mostly awful when these shots were taken, but they are probably among my best of this usually elusive species.
One day the rain was pouring and this adult was looking a bit bedraggled.
There is no concern for the difficult light you mention. Wonderful subjects are very well captured.
