Over the last weekend I was lucky enough to be involved in a record breaking/setting attempt to build 50 ponds at least 1m squared in size on a site near Wickford. Im pleased to say it was completed in 8 hours. I was there on the first day when we managed 44 in 6.5hrs, so well done to everyone involved, including folks from Pond Conservation (Million Ponds Project), ARGUK, Amphibian and Reptile Conservation, London ARG, Essex ARG and the students of Writtle College.
