Another bird I found on my May trip to Sheppey was the yellow wagtail. This one was fluttering Elmley marshes. Later elsewhere on Sheppey I found 1 singing. Including a backlit shot.

More photos from Elmley Marshes: there were a number of lapwings by the road and I got some nice shots of them. I got one as it stretched its wings. And some different shots too.
The morning of my last post when I got the Merlin was quite an atmospheric and misty one. There was bit of a frost around as an egret was hunting along a flooded ditch. There was a nice flock of curlews too. And a rabbit just about posed on the grass.
