Yesterday the story of a garden pond in Norfolk that had been raided by an otter hit the a BBC News and a few weeks ago there was the former fishery owner trying to sue the environment agency for £2.5 millon! because otter ate his fish. Both of these stories hardly left the otters in…
A few photos from in what is left of the snow today. A grey squirrel that posed for a few shots. And a robin posed for a shot too.
Before all this snow arrived, I went for a walk around a frosty and sunny Wat Tyler Park, where I came across a fox hunting for food. I only managed one shot as it was partly hidden by bushes most the time, and between me and the sun, but I quite like it.
Some shots of a Rabbit back in 2012. Note the mosquitoes in these photos, the park is swarming with them in spring/summer!
Back in October I headed to Richmond Park. There I took some photos of the Red deer stags. The calves in this one seem unimpressed by the stags bellowing. A couple of youngsters were practising rutting. I also photographed the hinds. This one had some jackdaws feeding on it!
Another video from my bushnell trail cam, this time of 3 foxes.
I’m a big fan of foxes, but there is a downside to them appearing in your garden…lol (To be honest, cats are a bigger problem for this sort of thing!)
Some more fox action from my garden. Fox walking round, spotting us in the house and jumping a 6ft fence! fox jumps fence 8-1-13 from Neil Phillips on Vimeo.
BNeen putting the Bushnell Trophy Cam HD Max out in the garden and I tried a new spot and got this footage of a fox sniffing around and marking it territory! fox garden 7-1-13 from Neil Phillips on Vimeo.
My Bushnell Trophy Cam HD Max arrived yesterday so I put it up in the garden to see if I could capture the local fox and got this. Not bad, I’ll place it lower down in future. Im trying out the stills feature tonight so will probably have more to say tomorrow.
