Canada x greylag hybrid goose
While at Kensington Gardens I came across this Canada x greylag hybrid goose ( Anser anser x Branta canadensis) and got some nice photos of it in the late afternoon winter sunlight.

Yesterday I was in London with Jack Perks, a fellow wildlife photographer, when we came across this mandarin duck and her ducklings next to Regents canal. I got the wide angle out for a few shots too. In Regents Park we came across this Egyptian goose. And this wood pigeon.
When you take up wildlife photography there are certain bird species you want to photograph. Hoopoes are on most people’s lists, if hard to get in the UK.
