A week or so ago I photographed something a bit different, adult woodworm beetles.
These emerged from some logs a few days after they were brought inside.
I think they are quite cute, though you wouldn’t want to find them on (or in!) your valuable antique furniture!
This one fell on his back at one stage. I couldn’t do much to help him as they are only 3mm or so long! It managed to right itself anyway.
Not often you see them is such great detail. Thanks for posting.
