Yesterday I broke my dragonfly photography duck, well today I smashed it and got an unprecedented (for me) 5 species in April. Typically in April I might get my first large red damselflies, and I may have seen 1 or 2 more species in later days of April before, but 5 species is a new record for me. I saw a couple of azure damselflies and the following:
Hairy dragonfly
And species no. 5 for the day, and 2014, the 4-spotted chaser dragonfly.
A great selection so early; which pond/s were these at Neil?
They were in Wat Tyler, most images were from on the boardwalks
