My Bushnell camera did something strange with all the reflective snow last night. When the sensor light came on, the light level was high enough for my Bushnell trail cam to switch to colour mode. This of course meant when the light went out it has resulted in just a black screen but I’ve edited…
Before all this snow arrived, I went for a walk around a frosty and sunny Wat Tyler Park, where I came across a fox hunting for food. I only managed one shot as it was partly hidden by bushes most the time, and between me and the sun, but I quite like it.
Some more fox action from my garden. Fox walking round, spotting us in the house and jumping a 6ft fence! fox jumps fence 8-1-13 from Neil Phillips on Vimeo.
A few months I had a nice encounter with a tame fox, and the weather was kind too. I started taking shots with the 300mm. Then switched to the 100mm for full body shots.
A quick photo from Pitsea landfill site, one of my favs from the evening there:
Back on Pitsea Landfill site and photographing the wonderful foxes there. This particular fox seemed to have got something stuck in is teeth and pulled a sucession of great poses. Before stopping to lick is paw clean.
