Last week I got out the photographic aquarium after a long break from photographing any freshwater creatures, and I got some nice photos of some large red damselfly nymphs.
They are quite well developed, which isn’t surprising as this species is the first to emerge in the UK, some years starting in April or even March! They are just waiting in the pond for things to warm up in Spring.
I tried photographing on a white background and managed to get 2 white with some PP work.
