When up in a Cairngorms I hoped to see Mountain Hares. I managed a few shots, and this was probably the best shot. I was expecting shots more like this! I even had another one pose briefly by the road. It moved off and poked its head over the snow.
On Saturday morning I headed reasonably early to Elmley Marshes. The drive in was pretty quiet except for a few yellow wagtails until I reached an area with a field that had much shorter vegetation.
